El Laberint (labyrinth) d’Horta

The Laberint d’Horta park is a historic garden located in the district of Horta-Guinardó in Barcelona, the oldest one that is conserved in the city. It is located on the old estate of the Desvalls family, on a hillside in the Collserola mountain range. Started in 1794 and finished in its first phase in 1808, it was the work of the Italian architect Domenico Bagutti. The park includes a 18th century neoclassical garden and a romantic 19th century garden. It was opened as a public park in 1971.
